VPN_eng

Virtual Private Network is a technology that allows local network access control (such as the Departament's network) through a public network (the Internet) with the guarantee of authentication, integrity and confidentiality in all communication.

VPN is required when seeking access to computing resources of the Department (remote desktop, network shares and FTP servers) and you are connected from the outside of UPC network.

To use the VPN you must meet the following requirements:

- Your UPC account must be linked to the Department (students are not bound by default).

- You need an access account to the remote resource.

Installation of Department's VPN (Windows)

- Install the client OpenVPN 2.4.6:

- Download the profile vpn.ovpn and import it into OpenVPN client
